Your daily table

Here are the details for this mode. The displayed challenge date identifies the daily set you are playing. A daily deal uses the standard 104-card Spider rules. Daily Challenge on meloneat.com offers one dated Spider deal for each supported suit count. Choose one suit, two suits or four suits using the game controls.

When a new day begins

Here are the details for this mode. Your device's local date can differ from the challenge date near midnight. The date shown beside the controls is the date used for the current deal. A new calendar day in the challenge timezone produces another set of deals. This website uses America/New_York to determine its challenge date.

The same daily start

The following details apply here. Loading the same date and suit count reproduces that starting layout. Different suit settings are separate daily challenges. The daily shuffle is not selected from the verified winning-deal collection. The challenge date and selected suit count determine the starting shuffle.

Complete eight runs

A few details help explain this feature. A mixed-suit sequence does not count as a completed run. Clear eight same-suit sequences from King down to Ace to win. The run counter records your progress toward clearing all 104 cards. A full face-up sequence is collected automatically at the bottom of a column.

Move and build

Here are the details for this mode. A single exposed card can land on a card exactly one rank higher, regardless of suit. An empty column accepts any legal movable group. A group moves together only when its cards descend in one suit. A King needs an empty column because no higher rank can receive it.

Use the stock

Here are the details for this mode. Each stock deal places one face-up card on all ten columns. Every column must be occupied before you can deal from the stock. New stock cards can both create useful moves and interrupt existing sequences. The daily table begins with fifty cards in the stock.

Saving today's progress

Here are the details for this mode. Returning to the same challenge can restore that saved position. With saving enabled, the browser stores your current daily game for each suit setting. Saved daily positions belong to this browser profile and domain. Loading a new day's challenge replaces the saved daily position for that suit setting.

A new challenge is available

The following details apply here. An open daily game checks periodically for a changed challenge date while the page is visible. A date change displays a notice without replacing the cards you are playing. Completing an older open game records the date attached to that game. The Today's challenge control loads the current day's deal.

Your local record

Here are the details for this mode. My Statistics shows daily starts and wins separately for each suit setting. Winning the same dated challenge repeatedly counts as one distinct daily completion. A completed challenge is also recorded by its date and suit count in this browser. The local completion record is not a public leaderboard or an account-based history.

Practice at your pace

Keep these points in mind. Replay starts the same daily layout again. Undo can reverse a successful card move or a stock deal while history is available. Hints offer legal moves without guaranteeing a route to victory. Use Winning Deals when you want a starting position with a checked complete solution.
