A more flexible stock rule
The following details apply here. Relaxed Spider on meloneat.com permits stock deals while columns are empty. Choose one suit, two suits or four suits using the game controls. The objective remains eight complete same-suit King-to-Ace runs. The game still uses 104 cards in ten columns.
The relaxed difference
A stock card dealt to an empty column becomes that column's first face-up card. The relaxed stock rule does not change the rank requirement for ordinary moves. An empty column no longer prevents a stock deal in this variant. The relaxed stock rule does not allow mixed-suit groups to move together.
Read the opening
The opening tableau contains 54 cards. The stock contains fifty cards for five later deals. The first four columns have six cards each and the remaining six have five. Only the bottom card of each opening column is face up.
Descending rank placement
A few details help explain this feature. A King needs an empty destination because no rank is higher. The two cards do not need to share a suit for a single-card placement. An Ace cannot receive a lower-ranked card. An exposed card may land on another exposed card exactly one rank higher.
Follow one suit
A descending group moves as a unit only when every selected card shares a suit. A suit change can leave a smaller movable group at the bottom of a column. Same-suit building can reduce the work needed to separate mixed sequences later. A break in rank prevents the entire selected group from moving together.
Use empty columns thoughtfully
Here are the details for this mode. Any exposed card or legal same-suit group can occupy an empty column. You may preserve an empty column until you decide to deal from the stock. A new stock row fills every empty column with one card. Empty columns remain useful for separating temporary mixed builds.
Bring in another row
Undo restores the previous arrangement when the stock-deal snapshot is available. You cannot direct an individual stock card to a chosen destination. A stock deal places one card onto each of the ten columns. Dealing can block an existing sequence as well as reveal new combinations.
Collect matching runs
The following details apply here. The game removes a complete run automatically at the bottom of a column. Changing the number of suits does not change the number of required runs. A complete run contains thirteen face-up cards in one suit from King to Ace. Eight collected runs are required to finish Relaxed Spider.
